We offer a number of accommodation options – from beautiful secluded backcountry cabins to lodges, canvas wall tents and fly camps. Accommodation options vary depending on what species you’re hunting and which region you are hunting in.

Fairlie Lodging

Rocky Creek Ranch Lodge

$149 per night for two and $30 per additional person per room

Sleeps up to 16 people – six queen size beds, two single beds and two bunk beds

The lodge is located on our property, so you can enjoy a comfortable stay and still experience the breathtaking mountains views.

We’re ideally situated approximately 2.5 hours drive south of Christchurch, 15 kilometres off the Inland Scenic Route (HW72) en-route to Mount Cook and Queenstown, 37 kilometres from Lake Tekapo, 3.5 kilometres from Lake Opuha and 6.5 kilometres Mount Dobson Ski Area.

Basin Creek Hut

$30 pp per night

Sleeps up to 6 people – four single beds and one double bed (minimum of 2 people)

This beautifully restored historical hut is situated in the heart of a scenic secluded valley. The cabin is comfortable and warm, offering a genuine ‘Kiwi hut’ experience.

Approximately a 30-minute drive to the station gate from the small township of Fairlie, Canterbury and an additional 20-minute drive off-road to basin creek hut. Fairlie is a 2.5-hour drive south of Christchurch International Airport.

NO CELL RECEPTION AT LODGING. You can get cell reception daily on the mountain and get Wi-Fi in the evenings at the homestead if required.

Twin Huts

$150 per night (minimum of 2 people and a minimum of 2 nights stay) $70 per additional person per night

Sleeps up to 7 people – three single beds and two double beds

This beautiful historic cabin was originally built in the 1940’s. It has since been refurbished and offers a scenic escape nestled in amongst the mountains.

  • Beds fitted with sheets – sleeping bags and pillows required

Lodge

$400 per night (minimum of 4 people per booking and a minimum of 4 nights stay) – $90 per additional person per night

The Homestead

$120 per night ($25 per additional person per night)

This beautiful homestead was originally built for the farm owner and is now used for accommodation. Located in a breathtaking valley surrounded by stunning fresh water streams filled with trout – the ultimate backcountry escape.
